That's my understanding from synopses anyway, it's kind of like a dirty WandaVision when I put it that way. #FlicksForAll

@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyDidn't they specifically ask for a nice ass? How'd they get Jack Nicholson?
It definitely isn't out to explain everything (namely that the 3 women are magical without realizing it, have unconsciously formed a coven, and from there accidentally summoned a demon if not the devil himself who's out to have some fun messing with everybody in town). #FlicksForAll
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyThis is me, watching these 3 cute 30 something year old glammed-down women drinking at Cher's house, and absolutely not believing any of these 3 couldn't get laid if they wanted to.
@allflicker.bsky.socialnow why did Mr. Holland never try fucking the devil?
@allflicker.bsky.socialI’d go to church if stuff like this happened
@rsmon77.bsky.socialNicholson was really helpful with Miller in navigating American film productions. Basically asking for more than what you actually needed, knowing very well the studio would give you less…but actually exactly what you needed. #FlicksForAll
@mdk1701.bsky.social@mdk1701.bsky.social@allflicker.bsky.socialI don’t trust him to turn that video camcorder off when he says he does
@rsmon77.bsky.socialHard to believe Miller spent most of the 2000’s stuck between projects that didn’t get off the ground (like Mad Max: Fury Road and a Justice League movie), and stuff that did, like the HAPPY FEET movies. #FlicksForAll
@kcarr2015.mstdn.social.ap.brid.gyI just started. Susan's gonna kill Walter I gather? And the whole movie is about how they get the Devil's help to cover up the murder?
@allflicker.bsky.socialAm I stupid or is none of this making any sense?
I can’t remember if I thought it made sense when I was a kid.
@rsmon77.bsky.socialClearly it wasn’t too bad, they both worked together since that. #FlicksForAll
@allflicker.bsky.socialI shudder to think what he did to poor Tim Burton on Batman
Giant ROBOT spiders, exactly! #FlicksForAll
@allflicker.bsky.socialI don’t think I’ve ever seen this movie in wide screen before!
you can see the whole tennis court!
@rsmon77.bsky.socialSatan or JK Simmons, neither is easy to throw punches at. #FlicksForAll
@rsmon77.bsky.socialOh wait, the guy who wanted giant spiders in a Superman movie maybe got this story wrong? #FlicksForAll
@allflicker.bsky.socialI’m not even sure what younger audiences might think about the sexual politics of this movie.
