I'm working on one of my projects already, I want to try and finish it now that I have a vision of the end! (so close!)

Also hope to plot out some beats for my soulmark story, put them down so I don't forget them. (I've forgotten more plans than I like.)

at the very least I need to know my PoV character's aim. or one of their aims. sometimes this may adapt or evolve as I write, but I need to know one thing they want.

Well I started the week by rewriting my outline with the Save the Cat beats. And then most of the rest of the week I'll spend working on other project so when November comes around, I can shove those to the side and work on just Luminhaven. #FirstDraftFall

Lol. Just tonight I was researching top surgery, as Jevin will be getting it in this season. And bad things happen immediately afterward.

I'm hoping to wrap up my last WIP this week so I can dive fully into my First Draft Fall project next week.

There's a docudrama miniseries that would be incredibly relevant research for my story if I could get myself to watch it. I have trouble watching anything without an accountability buddy lately. I pause after five minutes and go back to reading. 🫣 #firstdraftfall #writing

Definitely need to understand the character and how they intertwine with the story, even though i don't usually know the whole story at the beginning (just the main points, find out the rest as i write).

Commission a cover for cool holiday project coming in December. Edit and polish a short story I made last year, make a cover for it, and get it on Itch. Edit WIP 2 some more.

#FirstDraftFall I have my launch and another book to prep this week, so it’s only gonna be minor planning for Fealty Among Bastards this week. They’ll be adventuring throughout the story, so I gotta start plotting out their hijinks!

I'm writing 530 words a day until the end of the year to get this draft done. Currently at 33k words and hoping to end around 80k for the first draft. #FirstDraftFall

I know I'm a bit ahead of the game because my draft is partially complete, but I would love to finish at least one chapter in part three this week. This part of the story is definitely going to be the trickiest to pull off, but getting a jump on it will hopefully help!

now that i know how i want the story to go (and also how the rest of the series will go) im actually locking in and Finishing chapter 11 and hopefully get to the other chapters too. helps that im on fall break!

#FirstDraftFall Story's most important here, as characters tend to change—and in fact, I learn them better by muscling through a draft and then just accidentally discovering what is/isn't their voice. But the story I need to outline at least once through, so I have a general sense of the beats.
