It's Ida Barlow's funeral in #CoronationStreet and the most ambitious attempt to date at creating the street in the studio is made in order to show the hearse leaving, whilst a haunting version of Eric Spear's theme music is played.

Controversial scenes in #CoronationStreet showing Sheila Birtles take an overdose and then try to gas herself were recorded but faded out on the original transmission after news leaked to the press.

#CoronationStreet courts controversy when news of Sheila Birtle's suicide attempt leaks. These three pictures all purport to show the Daily Mirror's front page on the story. Are they all real? Are the latter two mocked up, or from different editions?

Starting this evening, the next four episodes of #CoronationStreet were directed by yours truly.
They were made even more enjoyable than usual for me as I was joined by my old mate Steve Evets playing Doug.
No ponies were injured in the making of these episodes. 👀😄

I’m no longer worried about spoilers. And I’ll see it when I see it. My focus is on #Emmerdale #CoronationStreet and #BeyondTheGates instead. Plus, I have #Marvel #MCU shows and movies instead before #Doomsday

WHY THE COCKNEY UPSTART IS STREETS AHEAD
The impossible has finally happened. After 25 years at the top #CoronationStreet has been pushed into 2nd place as a soap opera. The writing is on the wall and it turns out to be graffiti scrawled by #EastEnders

If this isn’t your thing then you can scroll on by… but my latest directorial efforts for #CoronationStreet begin airing from this Friday (11th), followed by episodes next Mon, Tues & Thursday.
I hope you enjoy watching them as much as I had fun making them. x
