A Mallard Drake having a wash in a seasonal water pool at Ridgefield NWR. The duck has a characteristic green head and yellow beak, a brown chest and many buff colored feathers on its body. There’s a prominent blue patch on the wings which are in blurred motion. Water droplets are suspended in the air.
