The Raiders will beat the Saints on Sunday.

Let's not confuse the Saints to the 2009 Saints that won the Super Bowl. Yes, the Saints are an improved team like the Raiders, but this is winnable.

The defense won the game for the Raiders yesterday, & the defense is why they are 2-0. I didn't think the defense would be this good. It turned out Rob Leonard pretty much ran such a vanilla plan on defense in the preseason that the guys really went unleashed in Week 1.

I'm looking forward for the next five games. It's time for the Raiders to embrace the competition. The Raiders can win some games against them such as the game at New Orleans. Games like that can only sharpen a team. The Raiders will be up to the task.

2-0. One more and we’ll reach the same number of wins we had last season, haha. #raidernation

Today was a good day 😎 #RaiderNation

Saw the Raiders beat the Chargers in Los Angeles this afternoon and had a blast at the game! #Raiders #RaiderNation

To win this week is so huge. To be 2-0 validates the optimism the Raiders created this offseason and in training camp. It translates everything to what John Spytek and Klint have created here. It's gotten to the point now they believe. The next step is expecting to win.

Another great coaching performance by Klint and the staff today. This is what culture is, folks. You did not see a team panic at all today. You saw a team grinding it out and finding a way to win. The Raiders are the antithesis of the Chargers.

The play of the game was Nakobe forcing Hampton to fumble that Chenn recovered that helped put Kirk throw a TD to Cody White (what a day for him). That was your dagger.

Like the Vikings this afternoon, you can say the same thing about being lucky is better than good for the Raiders, but then again you can even say well-coached teams create their own luck, which is the case for the Raiders.

The 12 men on the field could have been costly for the Raiders in the end. We would have been talking about. Thankfully, we don't have to after Hampton fumbled that one. That was a gift.

The defense had another good game, which they got 10 hits, three sacks and 3 takeaways. Maybe it ain't as bad as I thought it would be. I was wrong. We will see if they keep this up, but the first two games have to be an encouraging trend.

Back 2 back. #RaiderNation

Kirk is not going to be pretty to watch, but one thing about him: He's an adult in the room who knows how to manage a game and makes plays when he has to.
