@samcoupe.comEnd of an era. #Zilog EOL'd the #Z80 over two years ago, now parent IXYS/Littelfuse issue EOL notification for all MCU lines. Got my first Z80 in a #ZXSpectrum in '83 then #SAMCoupe in '93. Made my own Z80 stuff since late 90s. Designed industrial equipment with eZ80 in 2003, plus co-pro on SAM.

@oldtechadverts.bsky.socialBattle of the planets was suppose to be an Elite clone. The game was too fast to make it a "fun" game to play. Apparently, the depth was also lacking.
