@carmparens.bsky.socialLot of work went into it. Weird template was a late suggestion from Dan Musser, I think? "Fixed" Birthing Pod was the original prompt from Majors, don't remember who came up with the original version of the card. Timing, number of cards, and template all changed a lot in development.

I was training Ken Nagle and felt Return to Ravnica was the best place for him to lead the design of his first large set (as returns are a bit easier than new worlds). Since he was leading Return to Ravnica, I was free to do Dark Ascension.
