Good morning - there many benefits of living on a narrowboat; this is one of them, waking up to make coffee and look out of the window to see this view!

Can you help us take down the “being” restored from this sign?
Join us for as little as £10 a year - no digging required.
You’ll get our magazine, e‑news, access to our FB group, and you’ll help show funders the support behind the restoration.
A desultory grey day,
Heron scolded and dripping.
I float my anxieties on still waters
But find it difficult to let them go.
Sometimes, there are
No burning bushes.
Only the squabble of ducks
And the miracle of sloe.
The canal invites
Me in to its silence.
A huge thank you to Amy for these fantastic photos from your recent trip. Looks like you all had a wonderful day out on the water, taking in the beautiful surroundings and helping us steer the boat 💙🌊🌳 #SundayMood #Charity #Boathire #LifesBetterByWater #Ukcanals #Community #MakingMemories
Oh yes. #UKCanals
Did you know that our visitor centre is adjacent to not one but three long distance walks? If you are lucky enough to be walking Offa's Dyke, Wat's Way or the Shropshire Way and we are open, do come in and say hello. #UKCanals #Shropshire
Our Green and Grounds team and DofE volunteers carried on Saturday after Thursday’s corporate group ran out of time.
They tidied the Falkland Road bund, planted hedging, tackled brambles and cut the grass.
Top work, team! 👏🌱
As well as your photos from trips with us, we love to share photos from our volunteers and their view from steering the boat. It's been a gorgeous day on the canal today. Thank you to our volunteer Lucie for sharing these great photos 🌊🌞

Probably not worth travelling across the country for, but if you are near Llanymynech Canal Wharf visitor centre this weekend, pop in for a half price flapjack! Open 1.30-4pm. #UKCanals Hot drinks also available!
The team had run out of spoil storage space at Gallows Reach and is only half way through constructing the canal section up to the lift bridge.
So they had a 'muckshift' this week to create more temporary storage space. They've cleared about fifty metres so far.
We are so lucky to have a dedicated & passionate team of over 100 volunteers. If you'd like to find out more about volunteering with us, please visit: wexp.org.uk/volunteer/ or drop us a message. We'd love to hear from #Volunteer #VolunteeringOpportunities #Charity #BoatHire #Dacorum #UKcanals
Not only did we finally post another #narrowboat video, but it wraps up our winter cruising in a chaotic fashion.
We’re not one for hyperbole, you count the number of canal disasters we faced!!! Let us know how many you counted!

Hello everyone. Just a weekly reminder that our volunteers will be at Llanymynech Canal Wharf tomorrow and Sunday afternoon with light refreshments and gifts supporting our wheelchair accessible narrowboat. #Shropshire #Cymru #UKCanals
Huge thanks to the Co‑operative Bank team who travelled from across the UK to volunteer with us. Over 20 volunteers helped clear towpaths and tidy open spaces along the canal at Fosseway Heath - a fantastic effort. 🙏
Good morning 🌅
What a beautiful day today
We love these crisp autumnal mornings
