Goodnight Bluesky Folks!

Today I managed to capture a Photograph of a European Herring Gull Standing on a Wooden Bench
It was captured on My iPhone 17 pro!

#Birds🪶 #NaturePhotography #PhotographersOfBlueSky #NatureLover #UKBirding #WildlifePhotograph #Mobilephotography #iphone17pro

Subject: A gull (seagull) standing alert and facing toward the right.
Appearance: The bird has classic plumage featuring a clean white head and body, soft light-gray wings with distinctive black-and-white markings at the tips, pale pinkish legs, webbed feet, and a light yellow bill.
Environment: It is standing on a flat, textured concrete slab with a background of dark grey paving stones or bricks.

Todd's at Budle Bay this p.m. Apparently not the bird photographed by @budlebirder.bsky.social a few days ago - this one is darker-breasted with a really narrow and dirty strap #UKbirding #NEbirding

Pink-footed Geese leaving the #Mersey at dawn; 16000 roosting on the river overnight before heading out into Lancashire and Cheshire to feed. One of the best birding experiences...in my humble opinion! @mbblerc.bsky.social @webs-gsmp.bsky.social #UKBIRDING

Have seen most of the Shetland specialities in England: Great Snipe (Sandwell Valley 95), Pechora Pipit (St Leven 96), Lancy (Landguard 97), Rubythroat (Osmington Mills 97) PG Tips (Blakeney Point 02) & Yellow-breasted Bunting (Portland Bill 03). Anyone else done something similar? #ukbirding

Good Afternoon BlueSky Folks!

Yesterday while exploring I came across a Juvenile Swan Resting on the Bank of a lake Grooming its Feathers it was Captured on My Canon EOS R50!

#Birds🪶 #NaturePhotography #PhotographersOfBlueSky #NatureLover #UKBirding #WildlifePhotograph #Canon50

A juvenile swan (cygnet) sits on a patch of green grass right at the water's edge, actively preening its feathers.
Key details in the image include:
The Swan: The cygnet features a mix of soft greyish-tan and white juvenile plumage. Its neck is curved back so its dark beak can groom the feathers along its body.
The Ground: Loose, shed white feathers are scattered across the green grass surrounding the bird.
The Background: Dark, gently rippling water fills the top portion of the frame, meeting a muddy shoreline just beside the swan.

I do enjoy a bird that brings feather detail to life. Wilson’s Snipe certainly are birds that do that. This individual was very popular on #IOS this week gracing Lower Moors Pool often with a Jack Snipe, which it chased off. #UKBirding @rarebirder.bsky.social @waderquest.bsky.social #educationalbird
