#TheDragonblood: About a week passes during the story, although it might be lived through a couple times over by the end.
#InReverse: The story takes place over decades, from 2024 to the 1990's.

#TheDragonblood: For Felix, there could hardly be a better way for the dice to fall! A mysterious woman infiltrated their D&D game, and invited them to a magical world! Felix will get to see dragons!
#TheDragonblood: Felix has had a regular schooling and is now doing an undergraduate degree in physics at Cambridge, in their third and final year.
#TheDragonblood: We are doing the floating city of Zonhaspalis!
Ready to find out about it? So am I! All I have so far is "there's got to be a floating city somewhere in Nemoria".
And now, a name!
#TheDragonblood: The current draft has the story taking place in late February and early March in the northern hemisphere. So, late winter, possibly early spring.
#InReverse: The story takes place over much of Meg's life. All seasons will be featured.
#Critterary 28
#TheDragonblood: Dragons take their form after the god/goddess Missadeiuos, who is also whom most of them worship.
Missadeiuos used the dragon form as their symbol, and frequently appeared in that form, but there didn't used to be actual dragons.
#TheDragonblood: Felix wants to visit a magical world, but is worried about missing school.
#TheDragonblood: I would love to go to the magical world! I mean, except for the little problem that I'd be considered Soulless in that world, and Nemoria doesn't treat the Soulless especially well.
#TheDragonblood: We've had whether endosymbiosis has happened in multicellular organisms (yes, it has, and usually only leads to certain specialised cells having the organelles descended from the engulfed organisms).
#TheDragonblood: Felix loves fantasy! The occasional sci-fi too, but mostly fantasy. Some classics like The Lord of the Rings and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. D&D novels like the Drizzt series. And more.
#TheDragonblood: Felix isn't famous at the start, in either world.
Sabrina knows them, of course. And depending on how much I lean in to the "Chosen One" trope, it's POSSIBLE the magical world has stories/prophecies about Felix.
Aimetor from #TheDragonblood comes to mind. They choose not just their outfit every day, but also their full appearance. They do tend to favour a practical look.
#TheDragonblood: I frequently depict Felix journaling.
For Aimetor, I describe them taking on different forms each day, which is part of an ordinary day for them.
Felix: study, improvise, fidget
Aimetor: shapeshift, heal, serve
Sabrina: watch, plan, guide
#TheDragonblood: Missadeiuos, god/goddess of trickery (among other things), likes to have some fun playing on people. The first time we meet her, though, it's serious business, because she's been called in for medical assistance.
Hm...
#TheDragonblood: Felix would do decently well in this world, I think, but it wouldn't be super exciting for them compared to the magical world. Although I suppose Felix might find the idea of a body swap at all exciting.
#TheDragonblood: We'll hopefully get to see Felix age some over the series, although The Dragonblood itself should be fairly contained. Many of the other characters have access to rejuvenation or are otherwise immortal.
