On this day 33 years ago (10/5/1993), the Dallas Stars play their inaugural game since moving from Minnesota, beating the visiting Detroit Red Wings 6-4 at Reunion Arena. Neal Broten scored 2 goals, including the first ever Dallas Stars goal.
