Of course, you know the drill thanks to our coverage of the sub version, Sonic wakes up in our world oat Station Square and...so far, we actually have 4Kids holding back. No bad one-liners, no constant yammering, and the dub is almost matching the Japanese. #SonicX

Sonic breaks into Eggman's lab, so Eggman speeds up the whole "Put the last chaos emerald" thing while Rouge The Bat watches from the skies...to see that Sonic's latest antics caused Eggman's base to go glowy and engulf everybody. #SonicX

We now get the infamous "Gotta Go Fast" intro and...honestly? Yeah, this kinda sums up Sonic perfectly. It's playful, fast, and...well..."Gotta go fast" was Sonic's philosophy and POV. The mature Sonic we got now wouldn't be until Generations. #SonicX

We open the dub of #SonicX with the same b-movie casio that every b-movie has introducing Big. #SonicX

Does this mean, much like with Yu Gi Oh and Pokemon, it over looks the 4Kids efforts to make this as 4Kidsty/American as possible and be just as good as the Japanese version? Let's find out as we start the dub of #SonicX with "Chaos Control Freaks!"

So, how'd the US version do? Well, Sega put a LOT of money in the US version. Not only did they supervise it very closely (Despite 4Kids efforts to be 4Kds), but the dub cast would be used over the years in future games with Eggman's VA still voicing him today. #SonicX

Up next, so we saw the Japanese version of one of Sega's best expanded media properties. It told some good original stories, had some pretty decent adaptations, and a YMMV third arc that was made on the grounds of it did better OUTSIDE of Japan. #SonicX
