A few farmers grow ginger in Germany too now, but at Aldi eco ginger costs about 5 €/1 kg/2,2 lbs, for German ginger you pay about 6 times as much, and I´m on #SocialSecurity.
So I have to buy the imported ginger from Aldi instead.
