I’m so checked out mentally. Came across this post on fb. Looks like the Coliseum crew is SUPER busy. Hats off to those guys. (Sidebar: taking the family to go see monster trucks on Sat. Nice to know it won’t be cold.)

Professional Ice Technicians • Join Kevin Dolansky • 11h • 0 Proud of my crew. We made ice specifically for a pre-season NHL game on Thursday. First time the Hurricanes have been back to Greensboro since 1999. What's more impressive for my crew is the gauntlet they are in the middle of currently. We had three days to build ice before immediately covering for a concert (concert ended up postponing) followed by adding plastic and plywood to do a full weekend of PBR. Then on Monday following a delayed PBR load out, we finally got to start the process of uncovering, recovering and preparing it for the game tomorrow. Immediately after the game tomorrow we need to completely remove the ice for Hot Wheels Monster Trucks on concrete to arrive Friday morning for their weekend long event. Then do another overnight Sunday cleaning up tire marks off the concrete so we can make our ECHL ice on toMonday..... Only to cover it for a weekend full of concerts before the teams training camp on the following Monday. The start of our hockey season came at us hard and fast this year.
