The NTP has confirmed an additional tornado in southwestern Ontario with the storms on September 3, this time at River Canard, south of Windsor. Damage to roof shingles, trees and power poles was rated at EF0.

Took the latest NBM radar + cloud cover % (>50%), it's the balanced approach, since its a composite multi-model ensemble, not a single run. 4cast is out till 6PM Sunday. Increasing high to mid level cloud decks seems reasonable all related to the Nor'easter. #onwx #onstorm

Some current model comparison and "thinking" on QPF
-still look's like ~ early mid week (late Tues.-Wed.?) that the chances of rain start to increase, -the Nor'easter slowly moves away and the Low out west tries to move into SONT. #onwx #onstorm

...no real change in the 4cast, SONT is still sandwiched between 2 areas of Low pressure, the Nor'easter & one out west-temps comfortably cool, still a northerly wind flow & passing cloud decks-some spiraling off the Nor'easter & moving east to west across EONT #onwx #onstorm

👊Dominating -High pressure will keep SONT "in the slot" sandwiched between two Lows. I really don't see any significant change to this pattern till early-mid next week-Tues.? Wed.? 🤷‍♂️Until then-cool, dry, passing cloud decks, & a breezy northerly component wind. #onwx #onstorm

What can I say? a pretty benign weather pattern🥱 from now thru the weekend. SONT stuck in the middle of two weather systems, the Nor'easter off the East Coast & another Low well to the west. Passing clouds, cool, dry, breezy air out of the East-NE,-then Northerly. #onwx #onstorm

The NTP has confirmed an additional downburst on September 2 at Plattsville in southwestern Ontario. Satellite imagery review revealed EF0 tree damage in the area. Snapped power poles were also reported.
