The giants woke up, panicked and enraged, but the thief was already making steady progress.
"My gold and my pet weren't enough, and now you want my best friend!?"

The child told their sibling to head for the beanstalk. Their sibling urged them not to take anything else, but the child was not satisfied and wanted to get back at the giant for eating their sibling.
After the other gave in and left, the child set their sights on the magic harp.

"He's sleeping heavier than last night, huh?"

"He's probably exhausted, he was crying all night. I don't think he would've been able to fall back asleep if it wasn't for his wife and the music."

The children slowly crawled back up the giant's throat, and scampered out of his mouth.

The child saw that the giant slept with his mouth wide open, and was laying on his side. Taking advantage of the harp's lullaby, they hesitantly crept into the sleeping giant's mouth, crawling down his throat and into his belly.
There they found their sibling, who hugged them tight.

They entered the giants' home once more. Sneaking into their bedroom, they found the giants asleep, the wife holding her husband close, and a harp playing itself to keep the giants asleep. It looked as though they had been shaken by last night's events, and had to be comforted.

The child escaped back home with the hen. They were haunted by the scene of their sibling being swallowed, but they worked up their courage and resolved to rescue them, somehow.
They returned early the next day, either to save their sibling or steal something else.

The giant, panicked and crying, lost track of the child who escaped.
"Give my friend back, or I'll eat yours!"
The child continued to run, looking back in horror as they watch the giant slowly lift their sibling over his mouth, drop them in, their cries cut, and swallow them whole.

The children run out of the house as fast as they can, but one stumbled in their panic and is snatched up by the giant. They cry out for their sibling to come back and save them as the giant clutches them in his hand, lifting them up.

The kids tell her they'll do this, but this is a lie. After she goes back in, the kids wait for the giants to go to bed, and sneak in once more.
Upon grabbing it, the hen begins to cry out. The sound wakes the giant, whose composure is broken upon seeing the humans stealing his pet.

She was taking the little ones outside when she heard her husband opening the door. In her panic, she hastily shoves the children into her mouth and hides them under her tongue.
After sharing a kiss with her hubby, she releases the kids outside and tells them they need to go home.

This time, they have their sights set on the giants' gold-egg laying hen. But before they could grab it, they're found by the giant's wife.
