The late afternoon light yesterday on the Rushy Pen at Slimbridge @wwtsightings.bsky.social was lovely. Lapwing, Snipe, and even the resident Mute Swans all showing beautifully!

Looks like the juvenile Pectoral Sandpiper relocated from WWT Slimbridge to Saul Warth, at least for now. MLK spotted it among the small waders whilst we were sifting through the rather nervous and flighty flock. Lovely to have time to enjoy watching it at leisure on a day off. #GlosBirds

So focused on getting news of Pectoral Sandpiper out, forgot all about the Guillemot that was on the Severn off the Dumbles earlier. If it's the same long stayer, this is notable, it must be finding food. #GlosBirds #WWTSlimbridgeSightings
Stroud. Fromebanks river & canal. A Dipper with leg rings (1 of at least 2) & unusually a L Egret on the river. Lots of Grey Wags and a Kingfisher on canal near SB #Glosbirds plus 8 acr and 3 pbr. Can't people take them home & act responsibly? Ridiculous
