My first time making a clay figure. I made Hatsune Miku ! She looks like a cute little nugget 🥹

The trimming process for some of my marble mugs. I love how the patterns show after the slip gets trimmed away. The process for trimming the bottom of these is kind of a nightmare, and can go well or not, depending on how cooperative the pieces are.

I might or might not be giving #clay a random traumatic backstory just because I don't want to draw the other eye...

Working on wall pulling; still trying to work out the “levers”.

I’m getting or making some bats (plaster bat FTW). Getting a piece off the wheel without flexing it slightly can be a challenge (depending on the piece; the one here is delicate).

Two raku pieces that were fired today. These pics are before cleaning the pieces (you can see black ash from the wood shavings on each piece) and before waxing them (which enhances the black carbon capture surface of the bare areas of clay).

#Viva has a dick and #Clay has a pussy, she's very hyperactive so he has to pin her down with both hands as he viciously jumps on it

Have you guys heard of a bolas spider?
This is loosely based off of one! (Not size accurate lmao)
They are in the orb weaver family but instead of weaving webs, they create a sticky thread to lure their prey in so they can ambush them.
They're so ugly icl

Almost missed the #BlueSkyArtShow theme this week! #undulating ribbons of clay being trimmed away from one of my wreath vases in preparation for TWO holiday markets I'm in because I'm insane 🫠 #pottersofbluesky #trimming #clay #satisfying #ribbons

Okay so I just wrote a 10 post thread of a #popcest / #vippy story and my app reseted :D I might actually just kill myself! Long story short: Drunk viva gets dubconned by Poppy and #Clay lies to her telling her it's normal

Beach Ball Shizuku Part 2 🐱💧

I used new chain elements for this one which I will use for the Keychains I plan to sell. I also really like the bottles I bought to put in the UV resin. Now I can get rid of the improvied one haha 😆

To distract from ~gestures broadly~ please enjoy my new favorite team building activity we did at my studio’s 3rd Bday: one-handed partner wheelthrowing! It took a while to get the hang of but was SO much fun, and I could even see it being a great pedagogical tool too! #ceramics #Clay #Wheelthrowing
