Zverev wie wir ihn kennen. Vergeigt den dritten Satz mit 5:7 #usopen #Zverev

... "force #ZVEREV..."
gooooooood luck😁

This is what a MAN like #ZvereV does. Yes. And deserved👍

#USOPEN #USMOB hopelessly perverted.

#ZvereV✌️

Question mark on whether #Shelton would have gotten to that passing shot at 30-30 or not, had he not slipped. He prepared the point so well and would have had a break point had he won it.
Instead #Zverev holds, and it's 4-4.

New #MAESTRO in town!
If the great #ZvereV is not very unlucky, here*s the perfect match to💫#RYBAKINA:
".. immovable demeanor - face & body language, it’s impossible to tell if they*re dominating, getting destroyed, or anything in between. BOTH: R NOT so nice when it comes to serve & groundstrokes"

#Shelton needs to find ways to approach the net, or force #Zverev into moving forward to the net. Baseline duels won't do the job for three sets in a row. It's not as if he is not getting chances to move forward.
Ben up 4-3 in the third.

Every word of this re #Zverev and today's #USOpen men's singles final.
The ATP, and ESPN/ABC, have been whistling on the porch hoping the parade goes by.
Meanwhile two women accused Zverev of physical violence, including choking, against them.

Zweiter Satz such an Zverev mit 7:6 im TieBreak #Zverev #usopen

🎾 The US Open final is set! 🇩🇪 Alexander Zverev faces 🇺🇸 Ben Shelton in a battle for Grand Slam glory. 🏆

Will experience win out, or can Shelton make history on home soil?

Who’s your pick? 👇

#Zverev now up 6-3 7-6.

It will take a monumental effort by #Shelton to overcome this. If he does, it would be his first Major title, his first comeback from two sets down, and surely many other intangibles...

147 mph serve by #Zverev (fastest of the tournament by anyone, says my TV) takes him to a 4-0 lead in the tiebreaker.
Switching sides now at 5-1 up.

I am - and I agree! I say:
Lil*Ben*Dudey, you haven't got it yet?
You're up against a real man:
A quiet, restrained, dignified, strong, skilled tennis player - do you think, the #USMOB of #USOPEN could ever help you...
👻🥴
#ZvereV should remind you all of your own great, fab #GaryCooper in #HIGHNOON!

Couple of well-played low volleys by #Shelton helps him hold serve on the crucial 10th game.

#Zverev holds routinely once more for his part and leads 6-5 in the second set.

Ben is looking uphill here, he has never come back from two sets down. He must hold serve & win the tiebreaker.
