Such a lovely woman, though now I’m wondering, does she actually own the shop?
She’s telling me fascinating things about vinyl records.
Such a simple technology, yet somehow completely mesmerizing.

@tvalahayes.bsky.socialElegance bears your name,
in every measured step.
A disciplined, razor-sharp mind,
the quiet authority of beauty.
Words fade into silence
when admiration speaks.
@tvalahayes.bsky.socialGood morning, everyone! A new day, a fresh start, and hopefully a little less theory today.
Time to get moving and see what the day brings! 🖖
@tvalahayes.bsky.socialGood night, everyone. It’s been a long but wonderful day. Time to get some sleep and recharge for whatever tomorrow brings. 🖖

London is even bigger than Zürich! I thought I was prepared, but wow… there’s so much to see. I’m definitely going to need more than one day to explore this place.
@tvalahayes.bsky.socialLife never really stops teaching us. Every journey, every mistake, every person we meet leaves something behind.
We may think we’ve learned enough, only to discover another lesson waiting around the corner.
@trekstorian.bsky.socialEmpires don’t fall overnight—they crack under years of pressure.
Which Star Trek empire had the most believable collapse? Klingon, Romulan, Cardassian, Dominion, or another?

@tvalahayes.bsky.socialBack to the basics: celebrating! Christine and I are going out tonight, and of course, everyone else is coming too.
We all passed our first exam successfully. Definitely worth celebrating! 🥂
@starchwreck1017.bsky.socialWell it's no wonder I can't finish anything, there are too many things going on, with these and many more not pictured in the line. Everything form commissions, experiments, riffs, whims, randos, tuffets, faas, scrimmms, etc etc.
@contraryterry.bsky.socialAnother disgrace - the #StarTrek movies #FirstContact, #Insurrection, and #Nemesis have every member of #Starfleet wearing the all black uniforms (with the grey shoulderpads). And with THOSE uniforms, it’s WAY HARDER to make out the shapes of the women’s bodies. FUCK. Ⓐ
@tvalahayes.bsky.socialSo. Much. Theory. 😅
I knew command training would involve studying, but I’m starting to think the books are trying to defeat me before the actual command exercises begin.
@starchwreck1017.bsky.socialAlso the Generations Concept Badge saga continues with one of a few riffing on the Generations logo.

@tvalahayes.bsky.socialToday’s topic: personnel leadership. The rights and responsibilities of a command officer, how to lead a team, and, perhaps most importantly, how to take responsibility for the people under your command.
A lot to learn.
@mkmmodelwerx.scotWhile waiting for replacement decals to arrive for the #EnterpriseF commission, I found the momentum to return to the 1/1000 #OlympicClass I started over a year ago 😳. Major paintwork is now done. Detail painting next. #StarTrek #Starfleet #Federation #Starship #3DPrinting #ScaleModels #MKMModelwerx

@tvalahayes.bsky.socialWe sent the only person who could solve the problem to their death, and that choice saved the rest of the crew.
It was only a training exercise, but it felt horribly real. I really hope I never have to make a decision like that for real.
@tvalahayes.bsky.socialWe’re having fun, but we’re here to learn.
Today our teams got a technical problem to solve and difficult decisions to make.
One option could mean sacrificing a crew member to save everyone else.
Suddenly, this feels very real.
