A row of empty deck chairs sit on a large covered wooden deck overlooking a wide, eroded valley. Rain has wet the edge of the deck but left the chairs dry. The photo was taken at the Theodore Roosevelt Library in Medora, ND. It was very quiet when I took this photo, only the sound of a little rain on the boards of the deck and an occasional raven and meadowlark.

Not so much #silentsunday in #Kanazawa, today.

Japan has changed a lot over the years. Places that used to be silent are now full of tourists 24/7 and often have lost their quite atmosphere. I just hope Kanazawa doesn't become as crowded as Kyoto.
