I was enchanted & horrified by Taormina in #Sicily. So many people but so wonderfully hilly. Everything is a 20% ascent/descent and climbing the hills we could walk for hours without seeing anyone and later enjoy delicious food and wine on a terrace overlooking the coast and Etna. Bliss! #Italy

Grüsse aus dem wunderbar kühlen und zauberhaften Orto Botanico di Palermo.

Botanische Gärten sind in heißen Städten fast immer die beste Idee: kaum Leute, kühl, gute Luft. Und hier kann man sich sogar noch ins Café auf eine Liege mit Kissen legen.

For our last five nights on #Sicily #Italy this was the view from our hotel bedroom. Etna was mesmerising and always changing but never boring. This was such a special treat.
