@circlingseasports.bsky.socialKRAKEN GOAL, DUNN DELIVERS ON THE 5-ON-3! Seattle gets a two-man advantage here in the third, and Vince Dunn's wrister scores for their sixth goal of the game.
@seattlekraken.com 6 - 2 Detroit Red Wings
8:07 left in P3
@cheapseatssports.bsky.social5 on 3 for the #SeaKraken and Dunn puts it through a screen by Beniers to make it 6-2
@sanjaromin.bsky.socialVince got it Dunn!
#SeaKraken up 6-2 now
@zesmerelda.bsky.socialDun, dun, DUNN! 6-2 #seakraken with a PP goal!
@davyjoneslr.bsky.socialBen Chairot takes a two-minute high-sticking penalty and the #SeaKraken will get a full minute of 5-on-3 time power play time.
@davyjoneslr.bsky.socialFormer Seattle Thunderbird Keegan Kolesar will take a sabbatical for tripping and the #SeaKraken will enjoy a power play.
@davyjoneslr.bsky.socialFreddy Gaudreau is on hat trick watch.
Ben Meyers is on Gordie Howe hat trick watch.
(The #SeaKraken have never had a player with a Gordie Howe hat trick)
@davyjoneslr.bsky.socialWell this game turned around in the second.
The #SeaKraken have a three-goal lead against a team that's not the Calgary Flames and that, my friends, is called progress.
And the third period is
under
way!
@atinnag.bsky.socialI did heard sell the team chant #SeaKraken
@davyjoneslr.bsky.socialAfter two, the #SeaKraken lead by three.
A FOUR-GOAL PERIOD by Seattle has completely undone the prior damage. Freddy Gaudreau with his first multigoal game as a Kraken is on hat trick watch, and Philipp Grubauer has been fantastic.
5-2 Kraken
2nd int.
@cheapseatssports.bsky.socialFeels like this game is going by fast, we are already through 2 and the second period was a fun one for the #SeaKraken who started slow but put up 4 to make it 5-2
@sanjaromin.bsky.social#SeaKraken up 5-2 at 2nd intermission
We turned up the heat & clipped Detroit's flight feathers some
How we feelin Kraken Fam?
@atinnag.bsky.socialHoly shit, I left because I need some Kombucha and we scored 4 more goals #SeaKraken
@nhlgoals.bsky.socialSeattle goal!
Scored by Ben Meyers with 05:55 left in the 2nd. Assisted by Berkly Catton and Brandon Montour.
DET: 2 | SEA: 5
@chamaker23.bsky.socialIt's always fun to see how @proseandpucks.bsky.social brings creativity to the writing side of things for us at @circlingseasports.bsky.social, and this piece is no different.
Combining her passions of books and style, this is a fun one for #SeaKraken fans who are also bookworms. Check it out!
@davyjoneslr.bsky.socialBen Meyers extends the lead!
The #SeaKraken kill the penalty, and Meyers comes out of the box and finds himself on a two-on-one with Shane Wright and he opts to take the shot, going high glove side.
This game has taken a surprising (and pleasant) turn.
@cheapseatssports.bsky.social5-2 btw. The 4 line has 3 of those 5 for the #SeaKraken
@circlingseasports.bsky.socialKRAKEN GOAL, B-B-B-B BEN MEYERS! It's now a four-goal second period for Seattle, as Ben Meyers joins the fun.
After that goal, Detroit makes a swap in net.
@seattlekraken.com 5 - 2 Detroit Red Wings
5:55 left in P2
@cheapseatssports.bsky.socialBen Meyers now! Out of the box after the #SeaKraken successfully kill his penalty and he puts it over the glove of Gibson just like Gaudreau did twice
