$PSX is the strongest Persistence outlier today at +3.2σ. Its history stayed above +2.7σ across the full lookback, marking a durable upward-trend anomaly rather than a fresh spike.

Why are PS1 textures so often 64x64? At 16 colours that's 4 bits a pixel: 64 x 64 x 4 bits = 2,048 bytes, exactly the PS1 GPU's texture cache. And all of it shared 1 MB of VRAM with the screen itself.
