There can be little doubt that of all the artists who caught the camera eye none was as seductive as Picasso. The photogenic genius never asked to have his picture taken; photographers just sought him out to pose for them. The line was long: Steichen, Man Ray, Brassaï, Doisneau, Jacques-Henri Lartigue, even his photographer mistress/muse Dora Maar. Armenian-born Yousef Karsh brought his mastery of dramatic lighting to this portrait of Picasso and one of his creations. Pablo is definitely looking good for a seventy-three-year-old.
