Three games, six goals, two goals per game on average.

With the help of Post Hockey's analytics, where are the #NJDevils at on the Concern-o-Meter thus far?

- Jonas Siegenthaler is on the ice for #NJDevils practice today. A really good sign for him.

Yesterday, HC Keefe said, "he's better than initially thought" after leaving the game against Utah.

- Jack Hughes is also out there after taking a maintenance day yesterday.

I suck at these, but just wanted to take a second to thank everyone who's subscribed to #DOTR

Tomorrow marks the 3-year anniversary of the Substack. Wouldn't be possible w/o your support. Never really expected it to get to this level

Thanks again, #NJDevils fans 🙏

I am hoping another team picks up Noesen off waivers, clearing Noesen's 2.75M cap hit. #NJDevils

The #NJDevils waiving Stefan Noesen is somewhere between unsurprising & surprising.

Clearly, he doesn't have the footspeed the rest of the roster has. However, he did score 22 goals just two seasons ago.

Here's four teams I could see take him for free:

Waivers today:

Brett Leason #SJSharks
Stefan Noesen #NJDevils
Chase Stillman #LGRW

Entwistle cleared from yesterday

Amadeus Lombardi had a rough go of it on Long Island.

I zeroed in on every one of his shifts against the Mammoth on Tuesday, and the respone was quite encouraging for the #NJDevils rookie.

For subscribers only:

Matyas Melovsky went undrafted twice.

The #NJDevils took a chance on him in the 6th round of the 2024 Draft.

Now, he’s making a case to one day stick in the NHL for good.

Our interview w/Melovsky, including playing against Mercer & Brown at Worlds (+):

Some great fights have juiced the early #NHL season.

But I wasn't a fan of how #njdevils Brenden Dillon bout with #TusksUp Jack McBain ended. If a player is blinded by a jersey over his head, shouldn't the linesmen jump in to break it up?

Is Keefe’s position at risk? #NJDevils

It's only 3 games, but the biggest concern in the early going is that the #NJDevils look a lot like they did in the past few seasons.

The fire doesn't seem to be there, and when adversity hits, they don't respond. When they do, it's too late.

It's early, but that has to change
