Out in Sudbury and Stow today for apples and the only #mapoli yard signs I saw were yes on 4, no on 8, and no on 9 (at a gun club, figures). If there were any candidate signs they didn't penetrate. (Not a lot of contested offices on my ballot, and none where the outcome is remotely in question.)

Somewhat fortuitously, the Springfield City Council just got an update from the Parking Authority about how underutilized or inefficient parking is, in part due to location and revenue. #mapoli

There are technical complaints, too, but these mostly amount to parking. If anything, 125 Liberty Street will result in too much parking to downtown Springfield, but that really does speak how much this location risk unbalancing downtown. #mapoli

This process was polluted *from within* from the moment Sarno put his finger on the scale. Then, somebody inside state government wanted a solution that led us here if not to this particular project. The opposition that matters is to 125 Liberty St, not outsiders. #mapoli
