It's the colored version of my piece in the "Sixty Years Forward" Star Trek community zine. #StarTrekLowerDecks #lowerdecks #BeckettMariner #BradBoimler #DvanaTendi #SamRutherford #T'Lyn #StarTrek

A black and white drawing of the main characters of the show Star Trek: Lower decks in the style of 1960's paper print comics. From left to right: Lieutenant Junior Grades Beckett Mariner, Brad BOimler, Sam Rutherford, D'Vana Tendi and T'lyn. They have sort of formed a human train walking down the corridor of the USS Cerritos.
Mariner is closest to the camera, she is pulling Boimler by his arm, which is over her shoulder and smiling, looking back at her friends. Right behind her is Boimler, his right arm over Mariner's shoulder as he's being dragged forward by her. He's looking behind his shoulder and grinning widely as he shouts some thing at Rutherford, Tendi and T'Lyn. Next in line iis Rutherford, who's smiling widely and has a hand on Boimler's shoulder. His left arm is linked with Tendi's right, who is linking her other arm with T'Lyn's and dragging her along. Tendi looks cheery and shouts back at Boimler. At the end of the conga line is T'Lyn, who is being dragged along by T'Lyn. Her expression says she's not against it. T'Lyn is holding a PADDin her left hand, suggesting she was mid work when this impromptu human train formed. They are walking past a large window, and through the glass you can see the passing nebula.

Happy #StarTrekDay!
Here's to Star Trek: Lower Decks, the show that turned me from a casual Trek viewer into a full on Trekkie.
I love vintage things, so I wanted to make a tribute in the style of retro comics, it's the 60th anniversary after all!

Laughter, the best medicine. #StarTrek has had some gems, and #LowerDecks, #StrangeNewWorlds, and #StarfleetAcademy have been a treasure trove of that best medicine.

A FANTASTIC Lower Decks time was had by ME at DragonCon 2026! 3 panels, 10 photo ops, 4 autographs, 8 Jack selfies and 2 Jack hugs over 3 days! Everyone was so kind and complimentary about my animation work on the show! I truly felt connected. My heart is full!

A little grainy, but I managed to catch Castro's face during the unveiling of "Captain" Boimler in S2 E6... Nice. 😉
