I’m watching #EastofEden gagged

Martha Plimpton is a treasure.

That is all.

it's been a long time since I read #EastOfEden -- first in the late 1970's & then again in the 1990's -- it's a top 5 fave

The #Netflix series is riveting: great writing, great acting, great production values.

Now watching Netflix #EastOfEden, Florence Pugh, such a versatile actress.

Not Lee has me tearing up when he comes back to live with Adam and the boys.

#EastofEden

Cameron, after watching #EastOfEden (2026) on Netflix, I decided to rewatch EAST OF EDEN (1981), which I hadn't seen since it was fresh. I was delighted to be reminded that Grace Zabriskie portrayed 'Mrs. Ames'. 🤩

i mostly enjoyed #EastOfEden but the hyperbolic praise is causing a retroactive souring because if we’re being honest it’s neither flawless nor “breathtaking beyond belief” - it’s uneven, some wobbly, baffling accent work, drags by the end, quite weak casting of Cal Trask etc.

Hoon Lee is the beating heart of #EastofEden. Florence Pugh is stellar as always. Needs much more Mike Faist

Kate’s brothel is absolutely my aesthetic #EastOfEden.

His accent (& body language) for Charles reminds me of #ChrisCooper (V talented character actor/lead in indies)! #EastofEden #MikeFaist
