Given that I'm a bit of a World War I buff, I recognized the uniforms and the artillery almost immediately in Chapter 4. Then comes Mads and his modern military getup, lol. I was asking myself, "is this the Metal Gear part of the game?" #DeathStranding

But, as of tonite, I have gotten past the dragging grind, and into the part with Mads Mikkelsen!

Legit, I got sucked in and it's taken me almost 30 hours to get to chapter 4. I seriously thought Chapter 3 was never going to end. You could easily sink 20 hours into building roads. #DeathStranding

So I found a Reddit post that finally elucidated some of what to expect out of chapter lengths in #DeathStranding.

It would seem that chapters 1-3, the ones I've been playing all year (off and on) are the real grind. And did they DRAG. I wouldn't blame most players for quitting before chapter 4.

75% off brings the Director's Cut to $9.99 — a solid price for a critically acclaimed open-world title with added content. If you haven't played it, this is a low-risk entry point. #SteamDeal #DeathStranding #PCGaming

Wow. #PlayStation is really trying to ease me into abandoning their brand after 31 years.
#DeathStranding was literally THE best AAA game of the last decade or more imo. @hideokojimaen.bsky.kojimaproductions.jp is one of few developers I admire.
No discs, no Kojima, nothing for me at PS.
