They said the bubble was bound to burst, but - 30 years later - Britain's best-loved soap is still a winner. It's #CoronationStreet's 30th birthday this December and the event will be marked at a star-studded gala evening . . .

HEWITT & FAIRCLOUGH OF CORONATION STREET
Three stars of Granada TV's #CoronationStreet will become "bookies" at the first meeting of the new National Hunt season at Market Rasen on Saturday. The stars are Doreen Keogh, Ivan Beavis and Peter Adamson...

Tonight sees the last of the four episodes I recently directed.
Hope you enjoy. 🙏🏻
I’ll be back again next year with some more. 👍
#CoronationStreet

As if I didn’t already not like Ross or Jodie, they escalate their villainous fckery even further. The only silver lining is the demon child wasn’t on screen today. #CoronationStreet #Corrie

I’m very disappointed in David today. #CoronationStreet #Corrie and I was also very worried at one point with the camera lingering on David the Dog that evil Jodie was going to do something to him too.

Despite threats of a union boycott, and having required hasty re-writing, that night's episode of #CoronationStreet does make it to air.
However, the Mirror's Ken Irwin asks
"ISN'T IT TIME THEY PULLED DOWN CORONATION STREET?"

There is no episode of Coronation Street tonight, but Jodie will feature in live coverage of Manchester United vs. Brighton. She will be meddling in the Uni dressing room as she believes she can do do a better job at managing the club than Michael Carrick. #CoronationStreet

Kinda reminded me of this....which is a very British and dated reference! #CoronationStreet

For you soap fans… keep an eye out this evening for the third of four #CoronationStreet episodes I recently directed.
The job is to serve the scripts you’re given. Hopefully, tonight’s episode hits the right balance between the darkness and the humour. 🤞
Enjoy!
