After 34 intense hours, the team at @esa.int’s #ESOC completed the launch and early orbit phase (LEOP) for #Copernicus #Sentinel-3C, following its launch alongside #FLEX on 15 September.

August 2026 war global gemeinsam mit Juli 2023 der wärmste Monat der #ERA5-Reihe. Die globale Oberflächentemperatur lag etwa 1,65 °C über dem vorindustriellen Niveau.

Les cicatrices des incendie de Saumos et Biscarosse (Gironde, ~42 000 ha) vu par MTG-I1 (Eumetsat) : entre le 21/07 et le 14/09, la cicatrice reste nette en FireTemp RGB, car le sol brûlé réfléchit moins l'infrarouge que la végétation. Visible depuis 36 000 km. #Copernicus @eumetsat.int

When the Vega-C rocket carrying #Copernicus Sentinel-3C lifted off from French Guiana, Meteosat-10 caught the action from space! 🔎

As it blasted through clouds, satellite instruments picked up a signal from the plume & engine heat, capturing distinct red pixels along the coast. 🚀🌍✨
