@abroad.canucks-abroad.caFT - 🇨🇦 1-1 (4-2 pens) 🇩🇰 It's a "win" to open October for the #CanWNT/#CanXNT as two misses from Denmark allow Kaylee Hunter to slot home the winning penalty! A second-half push getting Canada over the line after running out of time in the first half. 📷 Canada Soccer
@whaleystatic.bsky.socialOnly got to see the second half but solid performance. Nice to see practice on pens with Cup coming up #CanWNT #CanXNT #AllezLesRouges #VoyageursFamily

@abroad.canucks-abroad.ca@abroad.canucks-abroad.ca@sixseconds.ca⚽ Match Discussion: 90' CHAOS at the end, as Zadorsky makes a mistake and heads the ball back into play. D'Angelo with a HUGE save on the half volley.
@sixseconds.ca⚽ Match Discussion: 90' Incredible attempt from Grosso who takes Lawrence's ball, turns out and fires off the goalkeeper's hands and the bar.

@sixseconds.ca⚽ Match Discussion: 84' Awujo and Lawrence combine out wide this time, played in to Grosso who goes all the way across to Smith who's one v one, and fires home for the equalizer.
@sixseconds.ca⚽ Match Discussion: 83' Again, Canada playing the ball directly into the box, without working to try and move the Danish defenders around first.
@sixseconds.ca⚽ Match Discussion: 82' Smith having more joy playing the ball into the box, Denmark's marking smothering for Canada's attackers.
@sixseconds.ca⚽ Match Discussion: 80' Olivia Smith with a great square ball to Awujo, plays wide to Lawrence, whose cross is handled but not called for a PK.
@sixseconds.ca⚽ Match Discussion: 74' Hunter in alone, but has to turn back, plays out to Awujo who swings it in, and it's Hunter again whose there to challenge the goalkeeper.
@sixseconds.ca⚽ Match Discussion: 73' Wickenheiser with a good ball to the back post after Zadorsky fought to keep it alive. Noone at the post.
@sixseconds.ca⚽ Match Discussion: 73' Olivia Smith to Kaylee Hunter who takes a brilliant touch but the defensive effort was even better to get the block.
