OCtober Day 7: Backstory 🩹

There are many moments from childhood that Vitian wished he'd forget. But not all of them. Some moments were special in their own way, bringing back a feeling he cannot fully understand.

In the last frame, Selafinne turns her head slightly. A smile appears on her face. She asks a question, still tending to Vitian's wound. The wound seems to fade away.

Selafinne: "Will you tell her?"

Vitian is silent for a moment.

Vitian: "No."

"Born in a small mountain village, Asuna lived a life of relative normalcy for her earliest years. She heard stories of her homeland from her parents, not understanding why they'd retire so far away. Her father was a renowned warrior, her family name was well respected. Maybe that's why they favored the quiet life — to get away from it all.

During the height of the war brought upon by Thordrok, the tyrant of the orcs, she lost her village and her father. Only a few years later, just as she was adjusting to life in a new home, her mother would pass away from an unknown illness. Wracked by grief, Asuna spiraled into a reclusive depression for many years. Her only friends were the son of the tavern-keep, and the town's lord — who went out of his way to look after Asuna following her mother's death.

With the only things left of her past life being her father's hunting blade and her mother's engagement ring, Asuna yearned to do right by their memory. She must stop the man responsible. She must kill Thordrok. Maybe then may she, and others who lost like her, could be at peace again,".

I'm showing off Roundup and Percy's relationship with each other. They are good rivals for each other and make each other better, but they fight a LOT. [Alt text for more info]

Their dynamic can be really nice at times, they get along pretty well when they are cooking and know how to boost morale in the team. And because they're rivals, they help each other improve their fighting skills, and learn about each other a little more and create their own fighting moves! However, as many people know by know, they fight A LOT. It can be over the silliest little things and they will just be yelling at each other, and it usually takes an outside force of some sort to stop them from fighting. They take their rivalry a little too far sometimes and put the others in danger without realizing it just so they can one-up each other. I figured this would be a good one for this prompt! :D
