A Long Tailed Tit, taken from below, on the end of a small branch against a clear blue sky. The bird is left of centre of frame and facing the camera so that its underside, chest and head are visible. Its head is cocked to the left so that the right side is prominent. The bird has a short, black beak, it has a white streak from the top of its beak to the back of its head, which is ruffled from the wind at the back. The sides of its head are black and its chin and throat are white with a line of grey-black along the chest. The rest of its underside are white, its black feet and claws can Be seen wrapped around the branch at the top. The tail is hidden behind the branch it is perched on, which comes up form the bottom of the shot and is short with flaky white lichen in clumps halfway up, with a hit of yellow too. There is another branch in the foreground, running along the length of the right side of the shot. It is small and dead and covered in white and yellow lichen. The strands of the top of a spiders web can be seen between the two branches, mostly out of focus. The rest of the shot is a clear blue sky.
