@shadeknight466.bsky.socialHalo being developed by Activision. Not sure how to feel about that. Its funny for the Cod vs Halo bit, but as a lifelong Halo fan its depressing to see even more issues with development. Maybe someone new at the helm is whats needed. Or Halo Wars 3. Or ODST 2. Or both. #Halo #Activision #xbox

@llivia1990.bsky.socialOn the #XBOX news today:
- Layoffs are fucking brutal. I’ve been through it.
- #Halo has been extremely mismanaged for years, and it being under #Activision now is good, imo. Halo needs to return to multiplayer (and hopefully esports).
@thegavinsheehan.bsky.socialAbsolutely, hands down, the worst decision I've heard in a while. The company took Activision's policies and visions out of Blizzard to repair Overwatch. They literally broke Overwatch with a sequel. And now they want that in Halo... why? Leave them to CoD, leave Halo alone. #Halo #Activision
@haydnjanus.bsky.socialThe biggest change to Halo in well over a decade. I hope this shake up returns the franchise to glory.

@firequestreviews.bsky.socialThere is a wild shift at Xbox this morning after 268 layoffs across multiple studios.
Activision will now develop Halo, which I honestly think is for the best. Halo Studios has proven time and again that it isn't capable of shepherding this massive franchise.
