Beach House-Space Song
"Violence in music is always fascinating because I think there’s different layers of it. It ties back to the title of this record-a bit like, 'Yeah, I don’t care, it’s called 'Depression Cherry' and I just wanted it to exist.'"
Victoria LeGrand, 10/29/15.

Satisfied—Renée Elise Goldsberry and Lin-Manuel Miranda
My favorite song from the smash Broadway hit Hamilton. An extraordinary, tear-jerking performance from Ms. Goldsberry as Alexander Hamilton’s sister in law.

Again—Men I Trust with Ghostly Kisses
My favorite track from the Headroom LP features Quebec-based duo Ghostly Kisses as guests. A year later, they would make a cameo appearance in the music video for Humming Man.

Brandi Carlile-Wherever Is Your Heart
“It’s a love song to our cultish little family, stating simply that while our environment and lives change, we grow, but don’t grow apart, and home is wherever we are all together. I can’t see living any other way."
Brandi Carlile, 8/19/15.
