I'm going to follow the same format with the sequel for #HeatAndHighwater and have chapters from each of my trio. I think it allows for a fuller story of the conflicts and closeness. A dragon, unicorn, and kelpie all have very different ideas and desires. 🐉

We do a lot of multiple POV stories. But sometimes a story demands focus. This is one of them.

Also, we do a lot of first person narratives, and we like to justify multiple POVs for those. Give an in-conan reason, such as telepathy or interviews, etc.

The Alderwick Times doesn't have a POV character persay.
Mercy is sort of a dual POV in the sense that Mercy and Madison share a consciousness and thus thoughts.
Gilded Essence is a one POV story and will, barring drastic changes, stay that way.

The plan is one POV.

I don't think any of my pieces include POVs from other characters. I'm strictly a one POV girlie, and that includes not wandering into other people's heads. It's definitely a product of the types of stories I like to tell #FirstDraftFall

No. Roland (the MC) will be the only POV character, most likely. I know that a lot of horror does the several POV thing, but I'm no good at that.

I also think that staying in his head will make the whole unreliable narrator/spiraling into eldritch madness thing more unsettling.

Rebellious flame will be dual pov

The first one is Alice, and the other is Jack, who is a squire working for the government that ruined Alice's life...

...but also his : )

[2/2] some outside perspectives on how our MCs work together and navigate in their world. Our villain, Alabaster, will also ft with some 3rd person POVs so we can see what she's up to.

We're essentially starting from ground zero on this project, again, so I will count it as a #FirstDraftFall

I usually DO have multiple POV characters in my novels, but this is an exception.

Caly is the only voice. However, due to her ability, she experiences a variety of POVs. (So I kind of kept to my usual pattern 😂)
