Look at these pictures though. It was a big rough slab of wood, and now it’s a table. They seem so unrelated. You’re holding a piece of wood, and then it’s a table leg. When did it change?

Ok, my solution to the problem of "how will anyone know this is an egg cup" is to make some eggs that are durable enough to take to the market. Is that a joke or a real attempt to solve the problem? Hard to say. But the eggs were fun. From some cherry branches.

Hand-planing pallet wood continues to be good exercise, and it's the primary reason why I keep at it rather than just buying new wood.

Though some of the wood is good, too - and I should be trying to avoid blowing a bunch of money on materials before I've got more #woodworking experience.

Finished a dice tray I've been making on-and-off for a couple of years. Built it on the larger side for wargaming. The dust lid is a cool piece of cherry wood cut by an arborist friend.
