On July 29, 2025, a magnitude 8.8 earthquake off Kamchatka sent a tsunami across the Pacific. With Amin Rashidi, who led the study, and Mohammad Mokhtari, we simulated it and compared it with deep-ocean records, in Natural Hazards (2026), published by @springernature.com m. 🧵 #Tsunami
