The Doors had no bass player—ever. On the 1967 debut, Ray Manzarek worked the low end with his left hand on a Fender Rhodes Piano Bass while his right ran the melody on a Vox organ. One man, two hands, doing the job of two musicians. Hear how it worked 🎧 #TheDoors #MusicArchaeology #MusicHistory
