温暖な淡水、汽水域に住む草食の哺乳類。
北米から南米の汽水域に生息しているニシインドマナティーのイメージで作りました。
アフリカやアマゾンにも生息していますが、どのマナティーも絶滅危急種。
赤ちゃんマナティーは、たいがい母の横、ちょっと後ろを泳ぎます。
母マナティーの脇の下、赤ちゃんに向けた花のあたりにおっぱいがあるから。
まるでゾウ。
だって、ゾウの遠い親戚です。
