Original alt text by CMC: "Card #18 of #93: 'Tales From The Crypt' (1989), presented as a Hyper-Spoof of Impel 'Marvel Universe', released in 1991."
Added by FrightYa: A pair of feet appear to be walking down some dark stairs. Just a pair of feet, with shoes and sneakers on them; they are not attached to anybody. They are messy enough that it appears they recently *were* attached to somebody... Bobby, according to the text. "..Blood is thicker than water!"

Title card by CMC for S2/E13: Korman’s Kalamity.

It's #TalesThursday with #FrightClub! Join in at 10 PM ET and post along with Tales from the Crypt S2, Episodes 12-14 (1990). Available on Shudder, Tubi, and AMC+ if you happen to have it.

E12: Fitting Punishment; E13: Korman’s Kalamity; E14: Lower Berth.

See Crypty come into the world!

Mike Vosburg's comic cover for Tales from the Crypt, Episode 12: Fitting Punishment. Originally aired June 19, 1990 and directed by Jack Sholder. Possibly loosely inspired by the real-life case of James Hines, a 6'7" reverend and musician.
The cover shows a horrified Black man staring at a pair of bloody shoes, which appear to have been recently cut off from a pair of bloody legs above them. Impossibly, the shoes are walking toward the man.

Mike Vosburg's comic cover for Tales from the Crypt, Episode 13: Korman's Kalamity. Directed by Rowdy Herrington. Jim Korman (Harry Anderson) has lady problems. Originally aired June 26th, 1990.
The cover shows a dark-haired white man in glasses, sketching, with assorted artists' accoutrements around him. In the background is a wild assortment of colorful monsters, which we can reasonably infer to be the artist's concepts. Hilariously, one of them looks a LOT like the Crypt Keeper, albeit less funny and more malevolent.

Mike Vosburg's comic cover for Tales from the Crypt, Episode 14: Lower Berth. This episode directed by Kevin Yagher, who created the Crypt Keeper effects. Kevin's brother, Jeff Yagher, stars as Enoch. Originally aired July 3, 1990.
WATCH IF YOU WANT TO FIND OUT HOW CRYPTY CAME TO BE.
The image shows bars, and a couple of men creepily colluding about something around an open mummy casket. The mummy looks significantly less dead than a mummy should look. We see all this over a misshapen head belonging to what looks like a much shorter person.

Thus ends #AmityTime!

Prime asked if I liked #AmityvilleDollhouse. I told it yes. I may need therapy.

When we started this series watch, I said I only remembered a few of the episodes. This is one of them. A throwback to the dummy episodes of the Twilight Zone with more body horror. It may be my favorite.
