Lt. Keira Brown is part of the Memory Alpha team.
I know her from the Academy, so it was really cool to see a familiar face again.
Funny how often you run into old friends out here. 🖖

Hardly anyone knows this, but there’s actually direct access from the bridge to the restroom area.
And from there, you can also reach the briefing room and an emergency access route.
Starship layouts can be surprisingly clever. 🖖
We’re heading to Memory Alpha!
After a technical incident, the facility is being rebuilt, and we’re bringing supplies and the new crew.
So we’ve got quite a few guests aboard the Horizon this time. Should be an interesting trip! 🖖
Lieutenant Junior Grade… sounds pretty good, doesn’t it? I’m officially part of the Horizon’s bridge crew now.
Feels amazing to have a place up there among the stars. 🖖

A small tribute to my favorite Vulcan, @tvalahayes.bsky.social 💙💚.
Even as a pin, she shines in her own light 🫠🖖.
I need the full collection! 🫣💛

Seeing Mira again felt so good.
After three months apart, it was amazing to have her back in front of me.
And of course, the first thing she noticed was my new haircut.
Some things never change. ❤️
The course is over, the Bahamas were amazing, and now it’s time to go home.
Back to the Horizon, back to my friends, and back to the stars.
I’ve missed them more than I expected. 🖖
For the grand finale, we all headed to the Bahamas.
My goodness… this place is BEAUTIFUL!
I think I’ve found my favorite part of Earth so far. What an incredible way to end the course! 🖖
The training course is slowly coming to an end.
Looking back, I’m really grateful that the Captain gave me this opportunity.
I’ve learned so much and I’m excited to put it all into practice.
Who went to the hairdresser?
Me! 😄
A little shorter, a little fresher and honestly, I really like it. Sometimes a small change is all you need.
Beauty resides in simplicity.
In every small detail, I grow.
Memories become strength,
and every scar becomes a lesson.
I carry it all within me,
and keep moving forward.
Everyone gets a turn in my class!
Today, Lt. Cmdr. Alecto is up. She’ll explain the Tara IV maneuver and what makes it so special.
I’m looking forward to hearing her take on it.
Today I’m leading the course! It’s part of the training, and our topic is starship maneuvers.
Being on the other side of the classroom feels a little strange… but I’m enjoying it.
Time to put my navigation skills to work!
Okay… that is definitely not my strength. 😅
I thought I could handle it, but apparently my skills have limits after all. At least I know what I need to practice now!
Time flies. Learn, network, learn some more.
It’s a lot, but I’m really enjoying it.
Every lesson, every conversation, every new connection feels like an investment in the future.
Climbing an Alpine mountain with all this gear, wow, this is amazing!
I’m definitely glad I’m lightweight; it makes things much easier. 😄
It still takes some courage, though. No need to overdo it, we picked a small mountain.
Most of the decals are now on the U.S.S. #Olympic. Just waiting on white decal paper to arrive to print more escape pods that go on the darker areas. #StarTrek #OlympicClass #Starfleet #Federation #Starship #3DPrinting #ScaleModels #MKMModelwerx
That was unexpected.
After the course, everyone in our group will be assigned to a position for three months, with responsibility as a command officer.
For me, that feels a little strange. I’m still a fairly junior Lieutenant Junior Grade. 😅
