Looking through #starfinder2e Tech Core. Let's look at Augmentations that you can get with the Augmented Body general feat. Previously there weren't a lot of options there and starting with a cybernetic character is a big fantasy.
First up is Claws, which gives you d6 agile finesse claws. š
Looking at #starfinder2e Tech Core, especially the Mechanic.
Robot companions are stronger than Construct companions by a fair amount, even beyond the fact they can equip weapons if you install that modification.
If you are a GM I'd honestly allow an inventor to have a robot companion instead.
Just got my copy of #starfinder2e Tech Core so it's time for me to give some more thoughts on stuff in it.
Since I stated previously the Mechanic doesn't obsolete Inventor but Inventor + Mechanic archetype instead intrudes on it if anything let's talk about some things archetype doesn't give well.
Demon in the Stars is not JUST a great book with new challenges but content that can be added to you Foundry games! That's right VTT players EOG has your back. Click the link below and get this for your online games as well.

#Starfinder2e Fans: okay, okay, you win, Iām working on a script for tactical Starship Combat. Iāll try to get it out this Saturday. Hereās some images to tide you over.
I have it! (Please note I am literally being bused into work right now) #sf2 #starfinder2e
This week, prehensile tails and tongues in Starfinder - How to get them, and what to do with them.

I would also like to point out the #pathfinder2e Alchemist is also a great combo with #starfinder2e Mechanic in both directions. Not only is alchemy still free items, bombs are weapons activated by doing a strike.
So you can use them on the Coordinated Fire feat to have tons of riders on it.
#starfinder2e swordā¦
and the return is you get a resilient 'companion' swarm that forces reflex saves against damage instead of making attacks. More investment gets you alt 'attacks', mods to your attack and some other options like the swarm moving you. So action heavy class like a caster or many #starfinder2e ones...
A few weeks ago we had our 2nd episode of Horizon's Edge premiere in collaboration with @d8dungeon.bsky.social for their annual D8DungeonDrive charity event! Not only did we raise money for a good cause, but had a blast playing some #Starfinder2e. Check it out!
Alchemist and Inventor are both really good and have their own unique niches that I'd argue are only similar to options in Tech Core in terms of flavor, not mechanics.
That said, I love the idea of playing either in a #Starfinder2e campaign. And the idea of playing tech core content in a PF2 game!
#Starfinder2e Core Rulebooks
15% off any 2, 20% off any 3, 25% off any 4
This stacks with existing discounts.
We're planning a secrets of the swarm campaign and I am debating between a fonqugon or a suskillion cutoff Shirren character.
#starfinder2e Tech Core Preview on YT: Nanocyte honestly doesn't seem that impressive.
Envoy Nanocyte: "What was that? I couldn't hear you over my ally hasting me. Gimme a sec." (shoots with haste action then grants themselves and a couple nearby allies greater cover)
So looking at the #starfinder2e Mechanic archetype instead of Mechanic being an better Inventor than #pathfinder2e Inventor like some are claiming it's actually more like there's not actually a lot of reason to go Mechanic if you can just go Inventor + Mechanic archetype.
Archetype's loaded.
The random thumbnail from last night really sums the session vibe up š
