Four dragons. Rainbow foil. Erol Otus artwork.

A Devastation of Dragons was only available at 2025 MagicCon events, giving this Secret Lair a distinctly old school fantasy feel and a place in MagicCon history. 🐉

This is why exploring the Secret Lair catalog gets interesting.

The Mountain Goats drop was shaped by John Darnielle, set on Lorwyn, and featured the first extended art treatment on basic lands.

March of the Machine Vol. 3 is $123.28 sealed, but the cards inside total $186.87.

That's a $63.59 gap, with Misdirection alone at $72.91. Compared with many Secret Lairs, the singles are carrying considerably more value than sealed.

Steve Rogers has entered the Multiverse.

The Captain America Secret Lair built the set around his shield, heroic ideals, and unmistakable Marvel identity. A pretty natural fit for Magic. 🇺🇸

LairTracker isn't just for tracking the biggest Secret Lairs.

The MSCHF collaboration is a great example. Five cards tied to MSCHF projects, unusual treatments, and a $139.14 sealed price make this one worth exploring.

Some cats are cute. These cats look like they might eat your deck.

Purrfection gave four Magic cards Ayako Ishiguro's unmistakable monster cat artwork, creating one of the most cohesive feline Secret Lairs. 🐈

Grimoire started at $39.99 and now sits around $110.18 sealed, while the cards total $70.75.

That $39.43 gap makes its sealed premium especially interesting compared with Secret Lairs where sealed and card values stay closer.

Should Secret Lair drops be able to change Pauper at all?

Not every Secret Lair fits the usual format.

The Strange Sands: Swamp was part of the Chaos Vault experiment that split a basic land cycle into separate releases.

LairTracker makes unusual releases like this easier to find and compare.

The unlimited run ships as it gets printed, with reasonable delays. And we should go back and do the unlimited runs for all SecretLair products that sold out on the first day.

#SecretLair #MagicTheGathering

I think #SecretLair should always be printed to demand, with an initial limited print run, for folks that are in to that, that are visually distinctive in some way (e.g. bring white borders for the unlimited run) and ship immediately.

Raining Cats and Dogs went from $149.99 MSRP to $556.50 sealed, while the cards inside total $729.80.

That's a $173.30 gap between sealed and card value, making this one worth comparing against other Secret Lair Commander decks.

Furbys got thrown into another world and came back... different.

The Oddbodies Confetti Foil Edition mixes unsettling creature designs with one of Magic's most colorful foil treatments. Weird, colorful, and unmistakably Furby. 👀

Notebook Genius is a good example of why LairTracker tracks bonus cards separately.

The main cards total $36.75, while the possible bonus cards range from $0.43 to $89.05.

That distinction can completely change how you view a Secret Lair.

Magic meets Arcane.

This Secret Lair took familiar Magic cards and rebuilt them around the characters, scenes, and visual identity of the animated series. For Arcane fans, it feels less like a reskin and more like a little piece of that world in your collection. 💜
