Format question: I may put a POV shot of these guys being watched from a distance 'From Deeper in the Forest' maybe. What's a good way to do that with minimal lines? I want the magazines reveal to stay on the page.

If you get a rejection from a cold email, be gracious. Thank them for their time and ask if they'd be open to reading future work. No reason to close a door just because you’re feeling a bit rejected.

A filler scene usually has one problem: nothing changes. No new information, no sharper conflict, no harder choice. If you can delete the scene and the story still works, it needs a rewrite—or a cut. #moviesky #scriptsky #writesky #filmsky
