New Jersey Pushing for Slavery Reparations, Public Education
A proposal gaining sponsors in Trenton would create an 11-member panel to study New Jersey’s role in slavery and recommend possible compensation and other reparations. #Reparations #ReparationsNow #NewJersey

An interesting point about reparations: if a country allocated them, would someone just be able to claim them by saying 'I'm Black too'? It seems tied to specific lineage and historical debts, much like the reparations for the Holocaust or Japan's as well. #reparations #identity #history

The push for reparations brings up a complex question: who qualifies? When the conversation shifts, it seems everyone wants in, making it harder to define specific eligibility. This current approach appears to be causing division. #reparations #identity
