Community concern is growing over a decision by an inner west Sydney council to black out sections of its entry signs which pay tribute to the area's traditional owners. #local #government #indigenous #australians #reconciliation #multiculturalism

I love this Saddle Lake #Cree Nation initiative because it clearly demonstrates that #decolonization & #reconciliation benefit non-Native people. Also, it's subversive ✊ & counters the conservative binary narrative. 🤘

Decades of Ottawa promises have left families without clean water. We can honour contracts, deliver clean water, and support real local freedom without expanding big government.

Graphic quote card for the Libertarian Party of Canada with a deep navy blue background and gold accents. On the left, a portrait of party leader Derek Elliott wearing glasses and a yellow suit jacket against a background of clean water. On the top right, the yellow Libertarian Party of Canada logo. In the center, gold and white quote text reads: "We can respect contracts, deliver clean water, and support self-determination without expanding government power." At the bottom right, text reads "Derek Elliott, Leader of the Libertarian Party of Canada".

Bones of Crows is an amazing movie.

I hadn't heard of it before seeing it last night.

It is also available online in a few ways if that works better for you than seeing it at Ottawa Public Library Emerald Branch on Sept 22nd - and there is a series, not just a movie. #Reconciliation #Truth #NDTR

God doesn’t want us to beat ourselves up over our past, but to learn from it and move forward in the plan that He has set before us. #Acts319 #MannaForTheMind #Guilt #Forgiveness #Reconciliation

Guilt can riddle us all, telling that our past was harmful and that our future won't amount to anything. God removes our guilt, forgives us, and transforms us. #Acts319 #MannaForTheMind #Guilt #Forgiveness #Reconciliation

Ottawa is providing $52,000 for two community-led initiatives in the Brantford region: $37,000 for Brantford Native Housing’s Truth and Reconciliation Commemoration and $15,000 for Darmont Gives Back’s anti-racism initiative. #Brantford #Reconciliation #AntiRacism #HamOnt

If I can choose between justice and reconciliation, I would choose reconciliation. Aida Shibli, Tamera. A Palestinian activist who has lived in this Portuguese community for 18 years. That shift from justice to reconciliation changed everything. togatherproject.eu #reconciliation #community
