REPORT: Two for joy as the Royals see off the Magpies at the SCL thanks to Jack Marriott's brace.

Here's how Sim saw a professional and efficient #ReadingFC win over Notts County.

RATINGS: Although Jack Marriott was the obvious standout for #ReadingFC today, Kyreece Lisbie, Andy Rinomhota and Paudie O'Connor had good afternoons too.

Reading 2-0 Notts County Matchday 7 of League one

Good, fairly routine-feeling 2-0 win for #ReadingFC.

Not one of our very best performances, but we did the basics well. Tight at the back, decent threat going forwards, took our chances and managed the game well

Marriott will get the headlines, but the supply was excellent.

And that Lisbie drive & chip, speed to finesse, gotta be Marriott's easiest 2-goal day ever. #ReadingFC

That cross from Roberts was so plumb it should be up for goal of the season on its own. Put that in the football reference library for posterity.
